Reina | Pomegranate
REINA | POMEGRANATE centers on the pomegranate, a symbol of abundance that has appeared in textiles and tile for centuries. It's one of six designs in LA REINA, "The Queen," where tattoo artist Pauly Lingerfelt borrows the structure of a Persian rug and fills it with influences from block printing, folk art, Moroccan tile, and body adornment.
On its own, Pomegranate creates a lush, intricate repeat pattern, but you can pair it with other tiles from the collection to create the look of an intricate rug. Ink keeps it sharp and dramatic; Rampart Rust gives it a terracotta-esque warmth. Try it in a kitchen, a dining nook, or a powder room.
