Created in collaboration with artist Daren Thomas Magee (Real Fun, Wow!), Tranquility – Off White translates the language of abstract minimalism into a refined designer porcelain tile. Inspired by mid-century modern art and the quiet elegance of geometric line work, a single continuous line sweeps across a softly textured, sand-colored surface before resolving into a perfect circle and three parallel strokes.
The restrained composition explores balance, proportion, and negative space, allowing the simplicity of each element to create a powerful visual presence. Its warm neutral palette recalls limestone, weathered plaster, and natural sand, making it an effortless complement to organic modern, Japandi, Scandinavian, mid-century modern, and minimalist interiors.
Crafted from premium porcelain with a durable matte finish, Tranquility – Off White is ideal for feature walls, bathroom walls, shower surrounds, kitchen backsplashes, fireplace surrounds, and boutique hospitality spaces. Maintenance: Porcelain tile is a relatively maintenance-free product that requires little continuing care beyond regular cleaning. Most cleaning can be done with a damp cloth and a gentle non-acidic soap. More resistant staining such as calcium spotting and soap scum can be handled using specially designed cleaning products such as Miracle Sealants Mira Clean product. Other manufacturers such as Stone Tech also offer products specially formulated for ceramic tile care. Take care to avoid “over the counter” ceramic tile cleaners that contain phosphoric and glycolic acids that could etch some ceramic tile surfaces.

1. Envision this amazing tile in your space. If your techy, play around with our visualizer tool, if your old school, print our "paper doll" tiles to play with layout the pattern repeat.
2. Order a sample! Color and tile details can be tough to translate on a screen. Grab a sample before making your tile dreams into reality.
3. Calculate square footage needed. We recommend adding an additional 20% to ensure you’ll have enough tile for your project due to cuts and other installation waste. Tile is made to order so there may be variation between batches. Better to have a bit of attic stock rather than pay your installer for a second visit!
We sell our tile by the box. Divide total square footage (including 10% waste) by 8 to get your box count.

Daren Thomas Magee is an Ojai, California-based freelance illustrator, muralist, and designer. The aim of his work is to speak to the space between imagination and reality. His hope is to leave you to float off in that liminal space into someplace entirely new. He follows his intuition by creating something new every day and taking guidance from the people he trusts.
Magee's work pulls elements from natural and supernatural sources making any floor or wall a statement piece. Not only are the designs whimsical and abstract but the shapes and textures are grounded and earthy.

Made to order, just for you! Right here in the USA. 100% porcelain acts as a canvas for all of our 12”X12” tile.
Each tile is glazed upon ordering, using state-of-the-art printing technology to apply patterns and artwork. The pigment layer is then sealed with a topcoat glaze that adds an additional layer of durability and meets requirements for floor and wall installation. The tile is then fired at very high temperatures so the glaze and porcelain are fused into one.
Due to our made-to-order process, lead times are subject to change. Please refer to the website banner for the most up-to-date lead time.
Each order is packed depending on parcel or freight requirements. All shipments are insured. In the rare event, your tile is delivered damaged, please note the damage on the shipping documents, take photos, and email sales@haustileco.com so that we can get your replacement tile out to you as soon as possible.

Contrasting or blending?... that is the question. Either way you go, select a grout color that goes great with the tile and your space. We recommend sanded grout and a 1/8"-1/4" grout size.
TIP: Want colorful grout? Add grout pigment to a standard white base for fun colors and a cheaper alternative to rare premixed colorful grouts.
